Dr. Karlovsky is double board certified by the American Board of Urology in Urology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, a distinction held by < 1% of urologists. After completing medical school at State University of New York-Brooklyn, he completed Urology residency at Temple University and then fellowship in Female Urology (also known as Urogynecology or Female Pelvic Medicine) at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr Karlovsky treats all aspects of General Urology but specializes in womenís pelvic health issues such as urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, vaginal mesh complications, recurrent urinary tract infections, and neurogenic bladder disorders.
He has authored a book entitled Female Urinary Incontinence (www.BladderBook.com), and consults with Plaintiff and Defense attorneys and Insurance companies regarding Urological and Pelvic Mesh Complications (www.PelvicMeshConsulting.com). He is a speaker to physician and public groups, both national and local, and a peer reviewer for several publications. Dr. Karlovsky has been in practice in the East Valley since 2005, and spends his free time with his wife and children.
